Welcome to Towy Events

Established in 1993, this Carmarthen-based organisation   originally secured its reputation with quality Antiques Fairs at a variety of venues   across south and west Wales. However, it was their flagship event, the   Carmarthen Antiques Fair, at the United Counties Showground which was   everyone’s favourite and that is where Towy Events have consolidated all its   Shows in recent years.    The Showgroundoffers excellent facilities for these events   with easy access directly off the main A40 (west) trunk road it is within easy   reach of all major towns in mid- Wales, as well as from the Valley and the M4   corridor and regularly draws large crowds from all direction. There is plenty of   level parking and a variety of excellent catering at every event.     The Antiques Fairs, two-day weekend events, take place four   times each year in March, May, September and November and offer up to 180   indoor stands all in the main exhibition hall on the Showground. There is a   long queue on Saturday morning and a great buzz of business from the start,   and visitors love its friendly atmosphere, the knowledgeable regular dealers   who bring such a huge variety of antiques and genuine collectors’ items to   Carmarthen.     In the last two years, and in light of the prevailing financial climate, Towy Events   have added a one-day ‘no-frills’ Antiques & Flea Market to   their calendar. Dealers and private sellers alike bring all manner of antiques,   collectables and just plain second-hand goods for sale! This is great fun, with   stands both inside and out, and regularly attracts large crowds of bargain   hunters.    Towy Events have organised a number of lifestyle shows in recent years and   their Caravan & Motorhome Show has really established   itself as a major showcase event in South Wales for this expanding market.   Again, the prime location of the Carmarthen Showground lends itself ideally for   this outdoor and indoor event, which also accommodates hundreds of   enthusiasts who can book in to stay on site for the duration of this three day   Show. With the Spring Show now in its fourth year, an autumn fixture was   added in 2009 and looks set to be as popular as the April event.
